Try setting your alarm to get up and get ready as you usually would on your usual workdays or take this time to really perfect your skincare routine! This would also be a great time to deep clean the house and develop good cleaning habits! Additionally, are you used to meeting up with your friends on certain days of the week? Video chat with them and have a virtual friend date!
2. Let the Light in
Tie back curtains and open those freshly dusted blinds to keep your Circadian Rhythm in check.
3. Get Fresh Air
Open the windows and doors to allow that stagnant air to be circulated around a little. This is also an excellent time to develop good exercise habits! Try going for a jog or walk every day to get some of that good Vitamin D.
Everyone has that one book they’ve always wanted to read but haven’t had the time to pick it up and start. Ever wondered how become a pro gardener or what works best for those dark circles under your eyes? Read some articles and gain some knowledge!
5. Stay Nutritionally Healthy
During this time, it is so easy to pick up the snacks and over-indulge. It’s important to stay conscious of what you are putting in your body and could also have a big impact on your mental health and the way your body feels. Also, DRINK YOUR WATER. Keep water by your side to ensure you are staying hydrated.
This scary time also presents an opportunity for you to do some good in the community if you are healthy and able. Check-in on your elderly or immune-compromised neighbors and see if you can assist with their grocery shopping to keep them safe and well.
