Meet Shannon E. Trim, PA-C, MPAS

  • Initial laboratory evaluation
  • Physical examination
  • Diagnostic testing
  • Preparation and implementation of a wellness plan
Before my studies as a physician assistant, I was very involved in women’s health first as a labor doula and later assisting in Childbirth clinically as a labor and delivery tech. I enjoyed the challenge of healthcare and pushed myself toward my goal of practicing medicine. As a mother of three children, it was a formidable challenge to overcome. I became the first student to elect to study integrative medicine during clinical year.

During that time, something seemed right. Immediately after graduation, although offered a position with a leading integrative medicine doctor, I elected to pursue surgery to extend my knowledge in anatomy and diagnostics. After a few years of emergency surgery, an opportunity arose to join BRMA where I could merge my predilection for procedural technique and integrate whole person wellness into my practice. I couldn’t be happier being here and learning nutraceuticals, nutrition, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapies, that overwhelmingly edify our patient population.

"One of the best days of my entire life was the day I hired Shannon into our practice! And this is absolutely not an exaggeration!

Shannon brings the perfect compliment to my style while adding her own unique flair and artistic element to the practice. Her expertise and experience make her indispensable! Patients find her soothing, which makes their experience at BRMA so comfortable. She brings new ideas and approaches that give us all a different perspective at many common issues we face. Quite simply, Shannon practices with my utmost confidence. I am proud she chose to be with our team, and I am fully confident you will feel the same!"
