truSculpt 3D & Vanquish versus Coolsculpting

Coolsculpting is a familiar term to many of us as this buzzword procedure has gained popularity in the past few years.  But is it the most effective, non-invasive fat reduction method?
At Biltmore Restorative Medicine and Aesthetics, we think not. We believe that our patients deserve the latest technological procedures and coolsculpting is a thing of the past. BRM is proud to announce that they are a certified training center for truSculpt 3D, the most advanced fat elimination procedure on the market. Vanquish, another popular fat reduction technique also offered at BRM is another viable procedure for those who like options.

All three methods are non-invasive and permanently destroy fat cells.  Coolsculpting freezes fat cells, while truSculpt 3D and Vanquish destroy fat using heat.  Individuals who have undergone Vanquish describe their experience as “laying under a warm blanket” and truSculpt 3D as a “hot rock massage”. Coolsculpting  on the other hand is reported to be “uncomfortable, due to combination of freezing and intense suction”.

Not everyone’s body is conducive for Coolsculpting, which requires the area to be tightly “sucked” into the treatment head, while truSculpt 3D and Vanquish are able to treat any body type.   This means truSculpt 3D and Vanquish are capable of treating all abdominal areas, love handles, muffin tops, bra strap fat, and smaller areas such as the chin, knees, arms, and thighs!

How long do these treatments take?

Coolsculpting “sucks in” an area and freezes it for about an hour.  TruSculpt 3D also takes about an hour but usually only one treatment is needed (per area).  Vanquish treatments are 45 min and typically take 3-6 sessions for optimal results. All three devices are FDA approved, with Vanquish and truSculpt 3D destroying between 25-30% of the treatment area fat cells while Coolsculpting treated 20-25%.

All three options have relatively few complications.  Coolsculpting, however, may produce paradoxical adipose hyperplasia which means areas of rapid increases in fat adjacent to the areas treated, which is the exact opposite of your fat loss goal.  Nerve pain was also reported by patients who underwent Coolsculpting, a complaint that is non existent with Vanquish and truSculpt 3D.

The costs of these treatments is roughly the same.  But why settle when truSculpt 3D is the latest, most advanced, and most effective, minimally invasive fat reduction method!  So schedule your consultation today and experience the latest and best body contouring available at Biltmore Restorative Medicine and Aesthetics!
